Okay, so I just have to rant a little...
{Yeah, I rant way too much lol.}

Anyways, to me LP not being remembered on the mostra will always be unfair and will never make sense! Now, I know a lot of BL fan are upset that they never get a mention about BL but honestly why would we get a BL mention!? Think about it, Brooke is a married woman with children. What married woman would go around mentioning/thinking about moments she had with her highschool boyfriend? Espeacailly considering that highschool boyfriend is married to her bestfriend!? That would be so wrong on so many levels!I know for some people it really hurts to admit, but the bottom line is..BL is over:/ This doesn't mean that they wern't important, o were never a part of the show, it just means that their story ended.

Now LP being not being mentioned is completley different. LP actually are not over. Their realationship is still very much going on. Not only that but Lucas and Peyton are related to Nathan and Haley, Peyton is an amazing friend to Brooke, and they all left on good terms. It's not like any one cut any one out. So with all that being said, what man doesn't help his younger brother when he was being accused of cheating, what man doesn't mostra up to the funeral of his best Friends mother? What woman doesn't aknowledge the fact that her best friend got married and had children, o hell even almost died!? This is why LP not being mentioned never made sense to me. And Lucas and Peyton were those type of characters that would ALWAYS be there for their Friends when needed. ALWAYS.

This is why for me, logically it makes sense that BL arn't mentioned, and no sense that LP arnt:/

xoheartinohioxo I agree with what you're saying about LP, Moosh. BUT, i have to point out that there HAVE been times that BL being mentioned would have totally made sense & THAT is what pisses me off. Last season Brooke & haley sat in Clothes Over Bros talking about when Brooke first started the line, and how "a boy had broken her heart" {not sure the exact conversation but that was how it was said - "A BOY"} How hard would it have been to just say, "Lucas had broken your heart etc etc." It's the same BS that pisses me off with them excluding LP from the Naley flashbacks in the episode when Haley gave birth to Lydia. It's so pointless and stupid to act like LP never existed.

kellyerin87 WOOOOOOOOORD. I ofcourse respect the fact that BL fans would appreciate a BL mention once in a while. I think that's only natural for any fanbase. But I don't at all think that BL mentions should be as expected, as LP mentions should be. Or that they should be grouped in the same category of importance, as LP acknowledgement. It's only natural that people move on from their high school relationships, and eventually stop talking about them. But it's in no way natural or realistic for best friends/family members to move away, and then act as if they just fell off the face of the earth from that point on. Nope. Doesn't happen lol. Especially during such significant events such as deaths, births, weddings, etc.

energizerbunny Completely agree! But yeah. It just makes NO sense whatsoever to not mention LP! When they're the heart of the show. Heck! They were there before Naley. It's just so sad that they never get mentioned anymore. Breaks my heart

xloverlyyx Agreed! It sucks but I get why they have done it because I think that they could never have any real drama on the show otherwise :( Even though the stories have gotten ridiculous. It's dumb that they didn't even get a mention in any of those situations though. This article is one of many reasons why the show should have ended after season 6. Firstly, it sucks now. Secondly, it makes no sense to continue having such dramatic story lines without LP being there to comfort their friends.
