Basically, its AU Leyton. Peyton still has experienced all the awful things she did in One albero Hill, apart from Lucas was never in any of it and he never lived in albero Hill. I hope te enjoy :)

Part 1 -
A change of life
Peyton Sawyer stared at her hotel room with mock horror. She couldn’t believe how messy she had allowed it to get; with discarded Cibo packaging and articoli of clothing strewn out all over the cream-coloured sheets of her bed. It was four in the afternoon and she’d only just decided to get up. The night before had been one of muffled crying into her pillow, asking herself countless times why he had ended things with her and feeling as though she was destined to be alone forever. She looked pitifully at her reflection in the mirror, her blonde, wavy hair suffering a severe case of bed-head, and asked herself how it had come to this. Her life had become a miserable string of break-ups followed da half-hearted one night stands, which left her feeling even emptier than she had before. But what else could she do? She was alone. She was alone and forgotten.
Peyton wiped away the last few tears from her smeraldo green eyes and sighed. She couldn’t live like this any more; it was time for a change.

Peyton got on the earliest flight she could to New York in the cerca of a new way of living.
“P.Sawyer, I missed you!” came the familiar raspy voice of Peyton’s bubbly best friend over the noise of the busy airport.
“I missed te too B.Davis.” Peyton replied whilst giving Brooke a hug. “…so, are te gonna give me a tour of your party palace o what?”
“Well, I wouldn’t call it a party palace, but this is probably the successivo best thing.” She turned the key in the lock of her giant wooden door and led a curious Peyton inside. Peyton’s eyes bulged as she took in the plush carpets stained in prugna red, the light-coloured walls and the various arches that led into più open and exquisite rooms.
“Not too shabby huh?”
“Brooke this is incredible! How much do te get paid?!”
“Well, I’m not one to boast, but being the designer of a huge company has its perks.”
Looking around Brooke’s house made Peyton even più aware of exactly where she was. Peyton was the girl from albero Hill, North Carolina with a wicked past and skeletons in her closet. But now she was Peyton Sawyer, an independent young woman in New York City, where she could achieve anything she wanted.
“Hey Brooke, how’s the nightlife over here?”
“Awesome. It’s the big mela, apple te goof.”
“Right. Do te mind if I take a look around for a bit?”
“Sure. I have some errands to run anyway. Bitchtoria has some “new ideas” where the company is concerned and is being pretty relentless to get what she wants. So knock yourself out.”

The pretty blonde sauntered into an elegant looking bar and decided to set up camp there. She knew she wasn’t up for going partying tonight as she’d had a long flight and jetlag was a bitch. However, what she was looking for was one last round of drunk, meaningless sex before she started her new life. She was wearing her favourite halter-neck black dress, made for her da Brooke which she gave to her on Peyton’s 22nd birthday. The dress clung to her in all the right places and, most importantly, it made her feel confident. This didn’t go unnoticed da one interested man at the counter, who noticed the plunging neckline of the item of clothing she had on.
Peyton noticed the man’s captivating sapphire eyes and sandy blonde hair, he was tanned and looked like he had a toned physique under his designer suit. She also noticed how he kept looking at her. She certainly found him attractive so why not? She thought to herself. The blonde took a deep breath and decided to talk to him.
“Most men try to be casual about it te know.” She detto mockingly with a tone of suggestiveness in her voice.
The man’s brow furrowed and confusion sparkled through his bright eyes. He spoke with a husky voice, “Sorry but I have absolutely no idea what te are referring to.”
“I saw te looking.” Was all Peyton said. She liked the way he was recitazione oblivious to his own actions.
The man chuckled before letting out a humorous sigh. “Actually I was looking at the guy behind you. I was making a private bet with myself to see how many drinks it would take him to fall off his barstool.”
Peyton felts her cheeks turn a deep scarlet and felt like she wanted to die. “I’m sorry. I misunderstood you, I should really get going.” She wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible, so she swiftly turned to make a fast escape. The man saw that she was about to walk away from him so held her back with his strong hand gripping her arm.
“Not so fast. At least let me buy te a drink first to cool te down.” He joked, with a wry smile playing on his lips.
Feeling even più embarrassed and irritated than before, Peyton detto “I don’t think so jackass.” She struggled to get free out of his effortless grip but couldn’t.
“Look”, the blue-eyed stranger spoke, worried that he had offended her. “I’m sorry I mocked you. Can we start over?”
Peyton realised that there was no way she could physically get away from him. And she was still hoping for a long night of passionate sex. So instead of leaving she replied with a stubbornly spoken, “fine”.
The man let out a silent sigh of relief before introducing himself.
“I’m Lucas da the way.” He grinned.
“Hi Lucas. I’m Peyton.”
“Well Peyton”, Lucas leaned into her ear and whispered in a voice so sensual that a shiver ran down Peyton’s spine. “You’re about to have the greatest night of your life.”
