Part 2
The Great Escape
“So, then I Lost another mother and shortly after I was shot. Two rounds of a psycho-stalker and a fake brother later and here we are.” sighed Peyton, after telling Lucas her life story. She wondered why she had detto all of this to a complete stranger, but then again, he had been interested to know.
“Wow” Lucas gaped at her. He had no idea that this girl had been through so much. Then he looked into her green eyes and saw the hurt behind them. “I’m so sorry Peyton.”
“Why?” She asked suddenly.
Lucas felt slightly taken aback, but still answered her question. “Let’s just say my life hasn’t been easy either.”
Peyton raised her eyebrow. “Okay so what’s your story?”
Luke smirked. He didn’t want to go into too much detail that night. “I just have a complicated life.”
Peyton was about to argue but decided against it. Still, she didn’t like secrets.
“Hey do te want to come back to mine for a drink?”
Peyton scoffed, “Aren’t we already in a bar?”
“Okay”, Lucas corrected himself, “forget about the drink, how about just coming back to mine?” Lucas wasn’t usually this inoltrare, avanti with women but tonight he was feeling reckless.
Peyton shifted in her sede, sedile awkwardly and stared into his deep blue eyes. As she did this, she felt a spark of electricity run down her spine and excitement course through her veins.
Luke, sensing her reaction added, “I dare you.”
This was the last straw for Peyton. She took Lucas’s tie in between her hands a pulled him near her, so near that she could feel his hot breathing on her lips. “Before anything happens between us I need to make something clear.” Peyton whispered, “This is just sex and nothing more. Is that okay?” Peyton silently prayed that it was.
Lucas swallowed and gave Peyton a wry smile. “That sounds perfect.”
“Excellent.”

The pair stumbled through Lucas’s front door in eager anticipation. Their lips locked together in long languid kisses and both knew that they wouldn’t make it to the bedroom in time. Peyton curled her long legs around Lucas’s hips as he pushed her up against the bacheca with a thud.
“Sorry” Lucas muttered.
“No I’m fine.”
Peyton hurriedly undid his cintura buckle and his pants slid to the ground. Meanwhile, Peyton’s short dress was pushed up over her head until she was left in only her underwear. Feeling under-dressed, she hastily undid the buttons on Luke’s camicia and ran her hands down his bare torso. articoli of clothing continued to be removed until both were completely undressed.
“Are te sure about this?” Lucas panted.
“It’s a little late to turn back now.” Peyton breathed.
With that, Lucas slid into her without a secondo thought and began his gentle thrusts until she urged him to go faster. Peyton wrapped her arms around his neck to keep her balanced as he peppered kisses over her neck, chest and eventually brought his mouth to hers.
Lucas moved his hand down to her most sensitive spot as he continued to pompa into her which sent her over the edge. For a moment, everything went black.
Peyton had had her fair share of one night stands before, but nothing could ever compare to this. This was pure ecstasy.
Eventually, Lucas came with her and what were left were two shaking bodies up against the wall. Peyton continued to cling to him as he led them through to his bedroom. He set Peyton down gently on the letto and then collapsed beside her. All that was heard in that moment was the sound of heavy breathing and the rising and falling of their chests.
Before Lucas could even turn to look at her, Peyton was already fastening the back of her dress and sliding into her stilettos.
“Where are te going?” Lucas asked, panicked, once he had got his breath back.
“I have to go.” Was Peyton’s bleak response. “I’m staying with my best friend and she’ll be worried if I stay out all night.”
“Can’t te just call her?” Lucas couldn’t help the pleading tone that his voice portrayed.
“No, I’m sorry Lucas. I have to go.”
Before Lucas could say anything else, she was gone.
He lay there for a while, staring into the darkness and sighed quietly to himself “I’ll be seeing te Peyton.”

“FREEZE” The police officer yelled at him before holding a gun up against his back. He had to think fast, but he couldn’t give anything away.
“You’re making a mistake.”
“I don’t think so buddy” the police officer laughed “you’re coming with me. Now drop the gun o things are gonna get a hell of a lot worse.”
“Maybe you’re right.”
Within secondi he had knocked the gun out of the officer’s hand and punched him in the face. He wasn’t actually permitted to kill the good guys, which was a shame, he thought to himself. He sprinted through the hordes of people trying to find where his target had gone. He made a mental note to put that damn officer in a world of pain for screwing up his mission. His eyes were frantic as he searched through the crowds, all the while making sure his ears were looking out for the sound of screaming to indicate his target was nearby. But there were no sounds but that of gossiping shoppers and business men on their cell phones. And there were no faces but those of average New Yorkers running their everyday errands.
He cursed and ran his hands over his head in frustration. He had Lost him. He pulled at the collare of his giacca and spoke half-heartedly into the small microphone. “I’m sorry Sir, he got away.” He bowed his head in shame.
“Never mind Lucas.” Buzzed the voice in his earpiece. “I know te did the best te could. Rest assured we’ll find him.”
“Thanks for your understanding Sir.”
“The CIA is a difficult field to be in son. We all went through it, but you’ll get the hang of it eventually.”
