Because we are so far away and trips are expensive, when we do visit, we try to make it at least over a week at a time together

They're usually only a week, because that's generally how long her breaks from school are. Except this next time I go, next week actually :D, it'll be 2 weeks. And this past summer I was there for 2 whole months, which was -amazing-, but yes usually only a week.
