[Debris floats in the ocean ... a woman breaks through the surface of the water and clings to a piece of wood ... she looks around and sees the island ... soon after, she reaches the shore, which is strewn with debris ... she is visibly pregnant and injured ... she drinks from a stream in the jungle and is startled da a reflection]
MOTHER: [In Latin] You're hurt? Let me help you.
[Claudia reluctantly takes her hand]
CLAUDIA: [In Latin] Thank you.
[Some time later, Mother feeds Claudia and prepares medicine]
MOTHER: [In Latin] What are te called?
CLAUDIA: [In Latin] My name is Claudia.
