what should i do?

I Amore this guy and he detto that he loved me too(he didnt tell it to me he told my friend and she told me)these were his words "Why would i hate her?! i Amore her! she's awesome!" the successivo giorno i got news that i would be talking to him the successivo day........that giorno came........and he never showed up...did he lie to me? did he forget? or...maybe he could have got stuck in a situation that he couldnt talk...what should i do?!
