I'm bi and I Amore my best friend who I think is straight. HELP ME!!

Okay, so my best friend and I haven' t seen in each since forever(I had to sposta a lot.). Now, we're just starting our friendship over again. I haven't told her I'm bi and she hasn't told me if she's straight o not. I really Amore her and she's on my mind 24/7. My parents say it's not a good idea to tell her I'm bi since it might ruin our friendship. But I really Amore her. What should I do?
