Under-rated more like

Many people these days use those three words to their advantage and not mean it, the words i love you are thrown out there on daily basis with no feeling behind it but then again it depends on who you come across with.

Actually, I think it's underrated. These days everybody says 'I love you' and it's quite clear they don't mean it. It's more like 'You're cool'.

People just don't understand how hard those 3 words are.

Those three words are really special and you should only say them when you clearly feel and mean it.

i don't even know.. but every time that i said those three little words i really mean it... it just that people don't even realize that I'm really saying the truth ...
they take those words so simple so easy and i don't even know why..

OF NOT cuz there is nothing greater than hearing the one you luv whispring into your ear the words "I LOVE YOU" it just makes you feel special and like you are only meant for them

I agree with Emma01, and I think you guys have said you agree as well. Overrated pretty much means it is used too much.

i think as long as it's not over-used and used the right way, i like hearing it. i always mean it when i tell someone i love them. always. but that's just me :)

I love you is way overused by everyone! And when someone you truly love says it to you, and then leaves you those words sting the most, because if they loved you they never would have left you. It's happened to me before. Now it's like I'm afraid to get close to people because i'm afraid they will let me down as bad as he did.

I've said ILY to five bfs, only meant it with two. (Come on, we all made mistakes when we were young!) With my bf now though I mean it completely every time.

It's both underrated or overrated. Many people don't mean it when they say it, or some people don't say it enough & mean it.
