Never had a boyfriend to cheat on, But I would not anyway.

^ I don't know if you can definitively say that you will never cheat, actually. A situation might arise in which you might be compelled to kiss or sleep with someone else while dating another guy.

I hate people who cheat. Why be in a relationship if you're gonna cheat? aren't you suppose to love that person? and not want to hurt them?
Btw I don't want to start an argument I'm just stating my opinion.

Not to be too argumentative, but how can you hate cheaters? I mean some of them, the guys that sleep around just to fuck every girl they can are disgusting, but they're the extreme.

Like, in a nutshell, my situation was that I loved my girlfriend, right? (Mind, I don't know if I was IN love with her.) But even when you're dating someone, even when you love them, you can still have crushes and minor attractions to other people. And so girl number two liked me, and I liked her, so when she kissed me I kissed her back. Or maybe the attraction with person number two is physical, which would lead to sleeping with them without really loving them. Or maybe the person was an ex that you still had feelings for, despite loving your current boy/girlfriend more.

Because of what they do. It's kinda telling the person who you cheat on that you don't care about them or their feelings. When you love a person, no one else should matter to you. If you really loved someone that much you wouldn't have attractions to anyone else. Ermm I'm confusing myself here..I think I'll stop :p Also I don't really hate them because that's a strong word..I just don't understand them and what they do is wrong.

I don't have anyone to cheat on...I'm not saying I'm never gonna cheat, but it's a strong possibility, considering how many social phobias I have...

Yes I have, and it was much easier to slip into than I expected, and it was also not worth it at all.

I'm not proud of it and I do think people can change, and now I've found someone really special and I'm not gonna screw things up with him no matter what. And if someone cheated on me, I'd forgive them. People make mistakes.

My opinion (by experience) is that cheating only happens when you're in an unhappy relationship/in a relationship that lacks communication.

Nope I would never, I've had it happen to me and it feels awful, why would I do that to some other guy D:

it doesn't matter. there is not an excuse. cheating is cheating. you don't have to sleep around for it to be bad. it hurts the person you're with no matter what. girls are emotional. some guys are too. cheating does nothing but hurt ppl.

There is never an excuse for cheating on someone. There are various reasons, but we're supposed to be better than our baser instincts. Don't put yourself in the situation to be tempted. But at the end of the day, cheating is inexcusable. Nothing forced you to do what you did. Yes, it was a mistake, but you are supposed to have better control over yourself than that. Cheating breaks the trust of your partner. And if you're not happy, don't cheat. Just leave. It would hurt less.
