um hello, you obviously dont conduct much research on manson today. he is still the crazy anarchist he has always been, hes just gotten more romantically involved in the past 3 years since his last album so his style has changed. he also lost madonna wayne gacy so having only 2 writeers is making things harder. he is still a rebel, but he cant go around throwing dogs into crowds anymore, because he got banned from my city the last time he did, and he has to settle down more now that hes with evan. a lot of shyt happens with manson, give him a break. hes not going mainstream. i will wlays love manson. i agree, a lot of his old stuff was better, but that doesnt mean hes bad now. dont say hes "going mainstream" simply because there are some changes in his style.

btw, one of the reasons hes calmed down a little is because hes getting old. marilyn manson is only a year younger than my dad, so lets see you get that old and do as well as manson does!

In fact I did conduct much research on him. And I've been a Manson's fan since 1993. Yup... I was in Primary School at that era.

And please remind that I didn't say anything about what cause him to be such a calm person or not. I only ask fellow fans about which image of Manson do you like the best. That's all.

i would probably have been a fan of amsnon in 1993, but my mother wasnt even pregnant with me at that point. however, in 1996, by the time i was 3, i secretly liked manson without either of my parents knowing. and i was 3. 3, people. i appreciated manson's work by the time i could talk, but byt he time i was 5 my parents brainwashed me to like pop, but shortly after, when i was 9, i was reunited with the metal world and ever since then, against my mother's wishes, i have studied manson and worshipped him. so i dont give a shyt which manson it is, i love him either way. because either way hes stilll manson

I think, he is calmer now because, sadly, he is getting older(but he's still AMAZING)and his voice probably hurts from screaming all his life even though that's the best part of his music but it does hurt your vocal cords...so yeah. He's still cool.

I love Manson no matter what. But I did love his Antichrist, Rebel, Lunatic, Controversial image better. It's always been about the lyric for me and as far as I can tell his music still gives a message to me. So it doesn't matter.

Manson is Manson and he will always BE Manson. His image changes constantly and he has Always been a mix of both....thus the name MARILYN MANSON is a paradox of the two. And like Reamina said, he HAS always been sensitive, I think the make-up and image is to throw pepople off, and to prove that you can't "Judge a book by it's cover" And it depends on what you consider mainstream... He will NEVER be "Pop" Mainstream and he has been "known/prmoted" mainstream since Antichrist superstar.

I'm 13 and I worship Marilyn Manson. Although all of the girls think I am mental cos I don't like 'one direction' and 'jls' and all of that stuff. I have just about lost every friend I have but I don't care. I love manson and no one will change that.EVER. Also every one says he is gay so I am sure you will understand that THEY HAD to die(joke) but every one dose say that so I just say stuff about them and there likes and interests that I don't like. Marilyn Manson is a god damn GOD! Deal with it dislikers.

I love both; I don't care how old he is, he's still just as controversial as he's always been, saying 'fuck you' to 'normality' and trying to get us all to wake up. I love his more hardcore shit from back in the day, but I also love his newer, more reflective work; either way, his songs are full of metaphor and they still get me to think. He's just as great as he's always been, in my opinion, and I respect that his age and the public who despise him and call him evil haven't stopped him from making great music.
