A Merlin Movie?

The Merlin co-creators Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy detto to CultBox that they were thinking about making a Melin movie, but I believe they haven't confirmed it yet. I'm a bit confused about this too. Hope it helps! : D

Julian, when we spoke earlier this anno te mentioned the possibility of an animated series – has this plan developed at all?

Julian: "It’s still talked about, as is a feature film. We’re talking a lot about a feature film, actually più than an animated series. But animazione companies are interested in Merlin and I can see why.
"The difficulty with an animated series is timing it so that it comes after the Televisione series. We don’t want to confuse the international market with another programme until you’re genuinely at the end of the live action series."

@Hanxx asks: When do te think the film could be made?

Johnny: "Well, film development is such a long drawn-out process, so who knows! But we are discussing with the film division and are in the planning stages of that."

Digital Spy:
Q: Is there any più info on the Merlin movie?
A: "It's in early stages - we're discussing talent right now, e.g writers, directors."

I think they probably used the term 'film' a little loosely. Nowhere have I heard about a film

Maybe the producers are considering it but nothing has been confimed I hope they'll get a movie though

Hi, I'd just like to say that I'm Friends with the producer (Sara Hamill) I did ask her about the Film and she detto that she is moving on to another project. So if the film was to be made, the chances are that there would be an ENTIRELY different crew and possibly cast. And as for the animated series, it takes years to progress in animazione (Actually animating wise) So, there isn't really a way of knowing...
