Our manager then came up to us. " Hey! My preferito kids! How y'all doing this fine afternoon?"
" Pumped up." Jackie said, jumping up and down.
" Ready to throw down at the showdown!" Tito said, pumping his arms like a balloon pump.
" Terrible." I mumbled, making Marlon kick the back of my leg hard. I groaned slightly but I was okay.
I then spotted the most beautiful girl ever. She was holding a baby in her arms, sitting in the rocking chair. She had gorgeous black hair, an even medium brown skin tone and big brown eyes that seemed to pop right at you.
Jermaine caught me staring at the " Mystery Girl" and gave my shoulder a quick tap, making me flinch.
" Starin' at that girl aren't te Mike?" He chuckled, elbowing my arm.
I rolled my eyes. " Aw! No! I ain't staring at her!" I said, trying so hard to be honest.
He gave me a smirk. " Ri-ight." He detto sarcastically.
Our manager, Eric had a mini session in the main room. He cleared his throat. " Hmm, I'm a little thirsty."
He turned around and yelled at the Mystery Girl. " Jaycee!" He yelled, making the hair on my neck stand up.
The mystery girl must be Jaycee because she gave the infant to another woman and came running up to us.
She looked at Eric with clear eyes. " Yes, sir." She said.
" Bring my guests and I some water." He detto rudely.
" Yes Sir." Jaycee said, fetching glasses.
She gave us the water. Eric tasted it and spitted it right in Jaycee's face. " Yuck! I wanted tea!"
Jaycee rolled her eyes. " But te detto to get te some water!" She said, on the edge of yelling.
Eric stomped his foot. " Don't back talk young lady! Your parents wanted te to have this job! I ain't paying te to be a jerk! Now get us some tea!" He yelled.
Jaycee sighed heavily. " Yes Sir." She detto flatly, walking back to the kitchen.
Soon, she came back with some tea. Again, Eric drank it and spitted it in her face. " Ew! Jaycee! I wanted Herbal Tea!"
Jaycee curled his hands into fists. " But Sir, every time te want tè te told me to give te gelsomino Tea. Remember?" She said, recitazione like a dumb kid.
Eric sighed. " Too bad, now I want Herbal Tea. Come on, chop chop."
Jaycee took the glasses and stomped back to the kitchen. My brothers and I didn't do anything, we were just sitting quietly, watching Jaycee sposta back and forth from the cucina and back.
She came back out once again with herbal tea. " Here te go sure." She said, twitching from frustration.
He tasted the tea. te know what happened next. " Gross!" Eric said. Jaycee dropped the glasses and grabbed Eric da the throat. " Listen! I came out the three times! And if te can't decide what te want, that's your problem! I quit!" She said, stomping off.
" Whatever! I don't need you! I can hire someone else!" He yelled.
I don't think I wanna work for him anymore...
