A spot on the hand or wrist isn't like his whole body. He used lightning creme and injections to lighten up to blend his spotted "gloved" hand to the other parts. Both him and La Toya used to use an over the counter skin whitening cream, as well s the disease he had called vitiligo which doesn't create an effect as white as he got and that like of pure looking. The vitiligo was on the gloved hand (hence the glove...) and he did actually make his skin get whiter using the cream (hence why it gets steadily whiter over time) but the cream in particular was in popular use, he didn't do it alone. His reasons were probably honorable enough. Probably part of the whole 'i will do anything not to look like Joseph Jackson' thing, which resulted in a large proportion in his appearance changes. A large part of it is probably the disease as well - people reckon he wouldn't have got the original nose job if he hadn't of happened to break it it's probably the same with the whole skin thing. I know most of the rumors about MJ are un true, mean and frankly un fair, because he was right in saying people shouldn't guess at what they didn't know, but that is the truth of the situation and i'm seriously not judging him for it. posted più di un anno fa. last edited più di un anno fa
