It was called ZAG Inks ‘Miraculous’ Deal | License! Global
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Children’s series partners to expand into comic books and graphic novels.
ZAG has partnered with Action Lab Entertainment to develop comic books and graphic novels based on its animated TV series “Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.”
The "Miraculous" comic book series and graphic novels will be an extension of the animated series and will include new stories featuring Ladybug and Cat Noir.
“Action Lab Entertainment has demonstrated a commitment toward great quality comic books designed specifically for kids around the empowerment theme,” says Jeremy Zag, chief executive officer, ZAG. “Based on this and ALE’s pure passion for ‘Miraculous,’ we are thrilled to be expanding our storytelling via this natural extension into comic books.”
The TV series is currently airing in the U.S. on Nickelodeon and throughout the EMEA region on Disney Channel.
The new comic book series is slated to launch in North America, July 21, to coincide with San Diego Comic-Con.
