It was called Niall Horan's new smart style - BelfastTelegraph.co.uk
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Niall Horan has reportedly decided he needs to be more grown up with his sartorial choices.
The One Direction hunk is often seen in relaxed attire on the red carpet, usually in marked contrast to his bandmates. While the likes of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne usually opt for suits or waistcoats, Niall prefers not to feel too trussed up.
"That\'s his personal preference," the group\'s stylist Caroline Watson told British magazine Heat. "We make it as dressed-up as we can, but in a casual way so he feels comfortable and photographs well. Plus, it\'s good for him to be a bit different from the others."
However, not everyone agrees with this. One Direction fans appear to have noticed that the Irish star doesn\'t make that much effort at events and have aired their views on Twitter. They even got the hashtag #letsdressupandnottellniall trending, seemingly a joke about the other boys banding together to play a prank.
It could have hit a chord though, with Caroline explaining that Niall has decided to switch things up a little of late.
"He\'s getting older and wants to be smart about certain things. We did the BBC Music Awards in December and he wore skinny jeans and boots with a smart jacket and shirt. Still relaxed, and not too over the top," she said.
Caroline has chatted about working for the lads in the past, explaining they have grown to love designer looks over time. She credits herself with helping that happen, revealing their favourites are Saint Laurent and The Kooples.
“I taught them so much that now they\'ll call me and be like, ‘I went into Gucci the other day,’ or ‘I went into APC the other day and saw this,’” Caroline told The Muse.
“[Harry] loves Saint Laurent, Zayn loves APC. They love Sandro, they love Kooples.
“I wanted them to be like the male equivalent to the Spice Girls.
“When I say ‘the Spice Girls’ I mean being in a group but having an identity. Everyone wore different things and no two girls looked the same. I wanted to create that with the boys.”
