Thirteen in 'Wilson's Heart'

There has been lots of discussion about how Thirteen gets too much screentime. There have been a number of episodes in which she features prominently and the ongoing 'Huntington's Story Arc' ensures that she is in the limelight in most of the season 5 epsiodes so far. But is this a bad thing?

As an avid Thirteen fan, I say no. Personally, I think she is an incredibly interesting character. She has reacted to certain situations in ways that I didn't expect (for example, her shock whenever someone confronted her about her bisexuality, her depression about Amber dying, her openness about her...

Well, here te go. It's kind of Thutner, but not really like...well, you'll see.


Broken Things

Most things, when they are broken, are worth nothing. It’s a fact of life, sad but true.
    
You’ll occasionally run across a child who doesn’t want to give up his wagon because the wheel fell off o who refuses to get rid of her preferito stuffed animal just because it has a rip down its back and all the stuffing is falling out, but that wasn’t the case here.
    
Most broken things are so worthless, in fact, that it doesn’t matter how they are disposed...

One thing I’ve been looking at recently is Thirteen’s heritage. Even though we’ve never met, and know successivo to nothing about, either of her parents, we can tell a lot just from her name: Remy Hadley.
    
The name Hadley will tell us where her father’s family is from. Hadley means “heather field” in old English. It’s a British name, so her father’s family probably came from Great Britain.
