people have been saying that season 2 has gotten worse compared to season 1. can anyone please assure me that that's bull?!

I'm one of those people.

In season one, characters and plot-lines moved forward. And they moved inoltrare, avanti in a logical way, with a pace that both explained what was going on but kept the veiwer entertained. The writers were able to tease the viewers mercilessly, but they actually lived up to the hype and expectation. The characters were complex, relatable, and interesting.

This season has been a mess. Characters have dropped off the face of the planet, never to be seen o mentioned again. Characters have, not only not progressed (with the exception of maybe Emma), but some of them (like Regina and Rumple) have actually regressed (and not in a good way), and the plots are slowly drifting back into one big over-done circle. A lot of the characters complex personalities have actually been watered down (like Snow's and they're starting to do that with Regina's), to the point where they are actually irritating o boring.
The writers have not been able to live up to the hype (Hook being a worse villain than Rumple, anyone?), and way too many plot and consistency points have been forsaken for the sake of shock and awe, o "good" entertainment (like the beans and Maleficent).

That doesn't mean it's a bad show. If te look at season two alone, and completely disregard season one, it's still one of the better shows out there (which is why so many people who are dissatisfied with season two are still watching it). But when te compare it to season one? If I didn't know better, I'd say we got a whole new cast of very green screen writers.

No one is expecting it to be exactly like season one. What we're expecting is that the writers were able to continue with decent writers, complex entertaining characters, and interesting story lines. That's, literally, all that we asked for for season two, and we really didn't get that.

I haven't actually seen season 2 but IT CAN'T BE BULL. NOT POSSIBLE once upon a time is the best. don't listen to stupid commenti like that, they are bull. :)

I thought season 1 was better, because in season 2, there were some episodes that was a bullshit. Episode 12 for example. And it was like i have watched another mostra (when they turned Regina into good girl).
From the moment, Regina turned back into Evil Queen, episodes were starting to get better. Now this mostra rocks!

I personally liked the first season better, not that season 2 sucked.

I actually think season 2 is better than season 1

I think season 2 has been good, but I have to agree with some people that some things have been a little stupid and più wtf moments. It got off to a great start with everyone getting their memories back and seeing Emma and Snow transported to the Come d’incanto Forest. But da half way through it got kind of stupid. Here are a lista of things that are wrong:

1. Belle losing her memory and having that story line dragged out for the rest of the season. This really pisses me off because not only do I miss her sweet self, but it got to the point where she's now so messed up (thanks to Regina) it also made Rumple turn back on his redemption for his son's sake and become's nasty again. I really hate the writer's for this.

2. Henry has went from being a smart and remarkable kid to an annoying little brat. He has such high expectations for his family just because they're heroes, and now that his dad is around he's all of a sudden becoming one of those kids who's desperate for his parents to get back together and have this happy little life. I thought he was way beyond that. As I detto before, sometimes I wish his little butt would stay in school!

3. Characters such as Ruby, Dr. Whale, Cinderella, even freaking Archie are all of a sudden not in the picture hardly anymore. They may be minor characters but they're still amazing. A lot of them have been completely screwed over. King George was supossed to be one of the main villans this season, but he was only in 2 episodes so far, the last time we saw him was way back when he destroyed Jefferson's hat. Speaking of Jefferson, where the hell is he?! I want to see più of him and his daughter. Also I'm really mad that August turned back into a kid. It would've been interesting to see him and his father have an adult relationship. As for Aurora, Mulan and Phillip, they're supossedly going to be back for the season finale.

4. Since oro found his son, there has been less time with the two of them rekindling their relationship. After he escaped death, oro all of a sudden went back to being worried about Belle while Neal is off with Emma and Henry. Seriously? you've been searching for your kid for how many years and now you're not going to bond?


Anyways, I still Amore the show, and I think we all do. No matter what mostra we watch there's always going to be things that we hate. :)

Season 2 is better!!!!

The thing is that I know what people mean when they think that season 2 is worse than season one. The thing is that season 2 might be confusing if te miss like one episode because they put a lot of information in each one so it is hared to keep track of everything unless te watch episode da episode

i totally agree with you. i dont understand why people dont like it because i think it is amazing possibly even più so than season 1 but i guess different people have their own opinions oh well some people dont have the pleasure of enjoying watching an amazing mostra such as once upon a time

I understand why people are saying this, but I personally don't agree. I think that season 1 was introducing all the characters and there lives. In season two they have developed them further. ciao it may get più complicated to follow, but I like it just as much as season one.
