I'm afraid I have to pick Regina. Despite how amazing she is I just can't justify picking any of the others before her. This is now officially hard.

I can't believe Ruth left so early! Anyway I remember someone a while back talking about how he put the fate of everyone on his child's shoulders so I guess I'll go with him. Normally I would've voted for Regina but I'm noticing a lot more things that make her a good mom. Like how she saved his life and gave him and Emma new memories so he could be happy. She's make a lot of mistakes but like Emma said to Henry "All she's done was try to fight for you."

Same here, I thought she was one of the better ones.

Exactly Kataralover! She was the best mother on the show. Anyway, Snow is already out in my personal list that I made up, she needs to go now! Lol :P

All of the remaining ones are good in my opinion. I think Jefferson is probably the worst out of them, though.

Regina really?! WoW....sometimes I really get the feeling that we are watching a total different show here!

^ My vote is based on the mistakes she made in season 1. She has since completely redeemed herself but compared to those that have always done right by there children no matter what... past mistakes are enough to disqualify her.

^ Care to elaborate these "mistakes" ?

She made her son feel crazy which is called gas lighting i think and also tried to murder his family numerous times, erased his memories because he had the never to hate her murder plan....... Yeah lol I'm picking her.

She tried very hard to convince her son he was crazy and tried to kill someone he loved which unintentionally put him in a coma. Like I said she has changed a lot since then but you can't ignore the past when she is up against people who have always done right.

Also if you consider that she was suppose to be a mother figure to Snow she did a pretty horrible job of that. I'm not really including that because their relationship even when it was good felt more sisterly then motherly.

^^ I forgot about the memory wipe in season 2. What are you thinking Gina! You've tried this before. You can't make him love you by lying to him. I'm so glad she didn't go through with it.

It saddens me because I love Regina as a person and her relationship with Henry starting s3 and last of s2 but yeah she made a lot of violent and evil decisions when regarding Henry and others.

Yeah, I love her but it was definitely a rocky road to get to where she is now.

Exactly I don't like when people ignore her evil deeds because that's not the point of the character. She was a good person who turned dark because of her pain but was evil then she slowly started to become good and now is I like that message of redemption. Not that I would ever forgive Hook, Regina or Rumple if I was one of there victims(funny because there my favorites) but it's a show that's what I love about once it makes us love people we wouldn't normally

I love them because of there complexity. if we whitewash them we loose that complexity.
