I took tge old man inside and managed to understand him and forgive him of his mistakes.I didnt judge him of his past,but who he was.We sat together in the living room,he in the recliner,I on the edge of the couch.He introduced him self as Tom.
"So why have te come here Mr.Tom?"I asked.
"I am lower then you,I don't deserve such a title.Please call me Tom."he said.

He wiped his face,And looked in his pocket,he pull out a few pills and swallowed them.He then continued:

"You want to see Courtney and Matthew?"I asked.
"Certianly,but 1st I have a gift for you."He told me.
He pulled a small leather book out and handed it to me.Om the cover in golden letters was printed 'How to love.'
"This was dato to me da my father,he died shortly after.Before my wife left I tried to be the man I wanted to be and ended up falling in Amore with her all over again but she didn't forgive me o Amore me but everything happens for a reason."he said.
I gazed at it,I opened it to the 1st page.Writen in ink was 'Take a stand,Be the protector.'
"But how?"I asked him.

I took a secondo to wonder the concept of that.
Suddenly I heard a yell.
"Zayn!!"I heard Anna yell.
I completely forgot about Anna and Drew.

I ran faster then I ever did,Up the stairs and busting the door.I looked to see Anna sitting on the letto with Drew and the past me on the ground crying.

I colomba and grabbed Drew da the hair,and lifted him up and punch, punzone him square in the face.He grunted as he fell back.I got on superiore, in alto of him and pulled my fist back for a hard punch, punzone and repeated it 3 times.I then got up and kicked him in the back.He laid on the ground moaning.I was the protector of my family.
I looked to Anna she was on the bed,A tear fell from her face,she quickly swiped it.I then leaned in and kissed her,burying my hand in her hair.I brushed my lips on hers and wispered.
"You are my wife and will Amore te unconditionally."
Suddenly Drew grabbed me from the behind and threw me at the wall.He turned me around and punched me in the face.Suddenly I heard a gun cock.
Drew froze and let go of me.I turned around to see Courtney holding a pistol aiming it at Drew.She had tears of anger in her eyes.
"Leave,and don't come back."She told Drew.
She pushed him then pressed the gun against his back and he slowly moved away from me.
"Fine,I'll leave but te don't know what your missing."he detto carelessly.He then walked out the door.Courtney glared at me,I went to hug her,she then pushed me against the bacheca and pressed the gun in to my throat.
"I dare te to fuck up again,and can guarantee you won't do it again."she then released me.

We awkwardly sat in the living room.Courtney and Mr.Tom staring at each other,eye to eye.Every time a tear would fall from her face,Mr.Tom would follow it with his eyes each time it fell.He looking at her with guilt but admiration.She staring with rage and anger.All of a sudden the silence was broken.
"You look so much like your mother."He said.
"Well it doesn't matter because she's dead."Courtney hissed.
Once again we were buried in silence.Courtneys mother died a few years back from cancer.Flashbacks played in my head of Courtney and Anna crying at her funeral.Suddenly Mr.Tom looked as if he were going to say something,but instead I was marveled at what he did.He got up,and went to Courtney and got in his hands and knees,as he shed a tear.
"Get away from me."She detto vainly.
"With all my might,I beg te to listen to me.Im not the man I want to be but I'm better then I once was."he voice cracked."Im Diffrent,and I ask of te to forgive me of my mistakes.Please your my little girl,I want to be a father for the 1st time since I don't have much time left.Just please."He rushed to say.
She looked into his blue eyes,she looked down on him into his cuore and soul.Tears falling one da one,She gazed as if she remember a distant happy memory from the past.
She detto not a word,She was speechless as I watched in amazement.At the diviso, spalato secondo I thought she was going to say I forgive te she sputtered out,
"I was never your little girl,You just a bastard and a stranger."
She slapped him and ran out of the room.
"Courtney!"he yelled.
He started to sob in frustration.I got up and walked to him.i helped him up on the couch,He still crying.
I looked to see my legs were slowly vanishing,he suddenly gazed at me.I blinked once and I was gone.
