but because dan was worse to lucas in the past i chose lucas

uh...it's hard to decide:

Karen: He got her preggers and abandonned her; had a son with someone else; then proceeded to make her and lucas' life a living hell in TH. He killed the man she was gonna marry.

Luke: Abandonned him and his mom; manipulated him and his loved ones; won his trust only to lose it again when he killed his uncle (soon to be father).

Deb: lied about fathering and abandoning a son with another woman. manipulated her and nate. made her & nate's life a living hell. Drove her to the point of attempting to kill him.

Now with luke, there's nothing worse than having your father abandon you. that's just my opinion. then when he finally comes into your life, he sceems you into trusting him, then kills the man he would have soon called father. He was just starting to love Dan. Luke's loathed him the longest and didn't have much time to love him (s4) before he found out what dan did. I bet Luke's fear of abandonment/not being good enough is psychologically linked to his relationship problems ("I don't want you to end up regretting me; What if i'm not lucas the writer; what if i'm lucas the smalltime bastketball coach"?; taking peyton's "someday" as a no; running from his heart/settling for second best/being afraid to aim high & go after what he wants; being afraid of being single for more than a minute - I think he clings on to whoever will love him, but is afraid to get hurt by those he loves the most). Dan's a big part of luke's psychological problems and I think deep down luke knows it and hates him for it. Hales said it: "Luke's heart is more fragile than you think."

Not only do we all think Lucas hates Dan, we know he does. Nathan was my second choice.
