about the poll question, I know brooke will always love luke (she said it herself in s4e1), but not in the same way she used to. she knows they're not meant to be. So I don't think she "let him go" so save her friendship with peyton. if they went through with their drunken sexcapade, it wouldn't have been because of love. it would have been a heated moment of drunken passion between two desperate friends. They both would have regretted it. B&L no longer have what they did in s2 & some of S3. If brooke had a sad look when she realized luke still loved peyton (in the last scene of s5e5) I may have speculated that brooke still had romantic feelings for luke and put them away for for a # of reasons. but she looked intrigued and happy for them. So I definitely think she's moved on. luke definitely didn't look like he had any feelings for brooke either. Besides, I like that brucas has a good friendship.

hehe, I finally saw the brucas so called kissing scene and brooke didn't even kiss luke back. he's an idiot when he's drunk, lol. but he's just upset and in love. The fact that brooke said "that's the second dumbest thing you've managed to do in 24 hours" and "we're not in highschool anymore" tells me she clearly didn't stop it just for peyton. she stopped it for herself as well. brooke's matured alot over the years. I don't find her repulsive anymore, hehe. maxiroxaussie I agree that brooke still likes him abit (she did say to luke that she'd always love him -- just not romantically), but never to a level that she would ever want him back. they've (brooke/luke/peyton) come out of alot and as brooke said, they're not in highschool anymore. I'm glad brooke knows better to remember that they've been through this twice before; she knows they don't belong together.

her love for Lucas is there, but not the same level "more of a friend" 'cause she finally accepted the fact the Lucas and Peyton belong together and really love each other. I haven't watched the clips dialogue, and to what you guys said, Brooke seems matured enough to handle this situation.
