He has massacred the lives of four people which has also effected the lives of those that care for them.

pain is his middle name...but then again, what oth would be without him?

you cant say luke.. if your gonna put one of the main 5 then its nathan.. if hadnt been alive everyones lives wouldve been easier!!

luke's caused brooke, peyton and now lindsey pain. but that's "pretty much" it. I don't think that mean he's caused the most pain. dan's affected almost every character on the show in a negative way. at least luke's done a lot of good. he's saved numerous lives and touched so many others in a positive light. if he weren't around, most the characters would be worse off or dead (heck, keith gave luke a preview of what his loved ones would be like if he simply hadn't gone into the school that day, let alone if luke didn't exist in tree hill at all).

i picked derek as dan has caused a hell of alot of trouble to alot of people but when i first read the question i fisrt thought of derek as he caused a rediculous amount of pain to just one person which in ma opinion is worse and i dont think luke has i mean yeh he hurt alot of people but it wasnt intentional

I have to say Dan because overall he has caused pain to the most people. His pain causing is widespread, it effects most everyone.

Luke is no where near causing the amount of pain Dan has. sure he has hurt brooke, peyton and lindsey, however one it's not intentional unlike much of what dan does, and two it pretty much stops with those three characters.

I also can't pick physcho derek either because that is pretty much limited to peyton...the same way victoria is limited pretty much to brooke, and carrie to mostly haley(or naley) however you wanna look at that.

so yea I had to go with dan on this one.

dan caused everyone around him pain whereas lucas just hurt peyton, brooke and lindsey. and the others just hurt a particular person or group of people

dan - everything he does is revenge or to hurt someone! he killed keith cba naming the people hes hurt theres too many!

carrie - naley - who gives a fuck about that! she added drama too naley!! there broing the rest of the time!

luke - messing up everyone! pull yourself together and tell peyton how you feel!! hes hurt peyton and brooke.(my 2 favs) oh and lindsey i dont give a shit about her!!

physcho derek - haha hes my fav physcho on the show! i loved these episodes (not cause of the same reason as 1treehillfan) i was rooting for peyton kill him haha! i loved them because they were exciting and scared me a few times haha! lucas saved peyton the first time awww! <33he hurt peyton but thats is! and brooke as well if you wanna include her - she was traumatized after it too - (she slept in lucas bed with peyton for a week after derek attacked!)

victoria- shes only brought pain to brooke! i would of told her where to go when she turned up in tree hill!

i put luke in.. because he shows no remorse for what he does and dan is starting to learn from his mistakes a lot more than luke.. That cheating butt face still thinks he's the best thing alive. Sorry won't change my opinion. And nathan is adorable! :P

Oh and have to put in... dan has lived a lot longer than luke. Which gives him more time to make mistakes, luke is what.. 15? and has messed everyone up. (i know i'm being dramatic :)

Dan-caused a lot of pain i season 1 season 2 and season 3 but he made it entertaining and he has always been a bad guy to all of tree hill.
Luke-I dont know why luke brought pain to ttrill hill maybe only peyton but not to the whole of tree hill.
