Hi, There Is An 'Orphan Black' Fashion Line at Hot Topic. Bye.
I’ve been a member of Orphan Black’s clone club for years, but my fangirling just went to new levels of extreme. I’m actually not kidding, this might be the best clothing related thing that has ever happened to me

announced Monday that retailer Hot Topic will offer an Orphan Black Fashion Collection featuring outfits inspired by the lead female characters on the show: Sarah, Alison, Cosima, and Helena. Now, you can be any clone you want. If you figure out how to choose, let me know because I’m stumped.
is only the very best science fiction drama on television right now (it’s on the BBC). In the series Sarah Manning, grifter and unwitting clone, stumbles onto a complicated cloning conspiracy that involves other clones — Alison, Helena, and Cosima — basically, there’s a lot of clone activity. What you non-watchers really need to know is that practically ALL of the characters are played by Tatiana Maslany and she is so talented it is hard to wrap your mind around. If you haven’t yet, you must go watch seasons one and two on Amazon Instant Video immediately. For real, go now.
Each clone in the series is a total badass and thankfully this clothing line captures that straight up badassery. Each piece is loaded with intricate details from the clones’ personalities. If you look closely, you will notice zipper pulls, embroidered stick figures, and even Helena’s wings. The individual pieces are a cosplayers dream, they’re also pretty awesome for non-cosplayers — and the entire collection gets us feeling those
Check out some of the looks and now you’ll understand why I cannot choose.
Hot Topic spokesperson Cindy Levitt said in a press release, “We are obsessed with
Orphan Black here at Hot Topic, and are ecstatic to be given the opportunity to work with the amazing team at Temple Street to design a collection inspired by the four main clones – Sarah, Cosima, Alison and Helena.”
