I just think the interior of the Musee D'Orsay is breathtaking and I like the collection. Plus the layout is less dizzying/disorienting then, say, the Louvre or Pompidou. The others are fantastic too though. This is a hard choice.

I fell asleep in the Rodin Garden and that was quite nice, but I agree with you pops, the Louvre and the Pompidou were just too overwhelming. Plus I love the impressionist collection in the d'Orsay. This must be why we're friends papa. :)

Orsay is much better. The art is more my style - the Louvre is incredible for the history, but the "Louvre lite" is what most people are looking for. Rodin is beautiful but doesn't compare to Orsay.

I just recently visited Musee D'Orsay and the Lourve for the first time, and Orsay won hands down for me. I have always loved the Impressionists so it was amazing to see some of my favorite paintings up close and not just in a book. The Lourve was great for the sheer scale of it and the range of work that it has, but it is actually TOO vast and we got lost at one point, trying to find our way out! There is too much work to actually appreciate everything, whereas in Musee D'Orsay, there is just enough :) I haven't been to the other places, but Orsay is definatly my favorite museums of any musuems or galleries I have visited, all over the world!

I have some good memories from here, just chillin there with some good friends. To be honest, I've never actaully been inside, just outside... But second place would be the Louvre, and I've been inside that one. :o)

The only problem for me was there was too much walking! I couldn't really enjoy it towards the end because I was exhausted.

Although, I've only been to two of these.

i have only been to the louvre. i went on a school trip and we literally went in, looked at the mona lisa, and left. i was so disappointed, i was really looking forward to visiting the louvre.

oh well, i'll just have to visit it again....!!

i have never been in Paris,but OF COURSE i would choose Louvre!!!

Pompidou is great, and Rodin is also fantastic, but the Louve's collection of art is just like walking though history.

I love the Musee D'Orsay but every time I go to the Louvre, it's magic : I'm once again the 12 year old little girl eager to see Every piece of art they have.

The Louvre is beautiful, but I just adore impressionism!

I don't know these art museums and have never been to Paris,but it would be nice to go!
