percy's point of view
I was in a complete state of panic. What had I gotten myself into?this is worse than getting turned into a delfino I thought as i leapt off the bus and burst into the restaurant.
"you're late. again." detto a voice behind me.I turned and as usual, my cuore skipped a beat.
"Annabeth, I am so, extremely sorry"
"sorry doesn't cut it,seaweed brain!"
"Annabeth, please let me explain..."
"NO! do te have any idea how hard it is to get reservations?"
"annabeth! I swear i'm..."
"Save it" she stomped of.I could swear I saw a tear roll down her cheek as she left. girls. They always have to be so sentimental. I sighed. Everyone else in the restaurant were looking at me so I left.
As I headed back to camp, I prayed to all the gods,especially aphrodite because she had always(well, sort of) supported us. When I reached, I went straight to my cabin. I did NOT want to talk to anyone but after a while, I went to the beach. That always made me feel better. The smell of saltwater,the sound of the wave and the feel of the water gave me a new wave of energy and helped clear my mind. it also gave me an idea.
The successivo day, I went to the Hephaestus cabina and found Leo working in his usual spot. He was so focused, he didn't even realize I was there until I detto " hi ". He jumped.
"Percy! I heard about your fight with annabeth. Right now, it sucks to be you."
"i know. that's actually why I came here" I told him my plan. he didn't seem to surprised but he detto " Don't get me wrong but why do I have to do this?"
I was expecting this and had already asked the Stoll brothers to steal his tool cintura in exchange of introducing them to some Aphrodite girls. so I held up the tool cintura and he gave in.
Later that evening, I ran around o a while to look all sweaty then ran into the Athena cabina yelling " Help! there's a huge monster on the spiaggia headed straight for camp!" Annabeth grabbed her dagger and followed me to the beach.
Now, te have to understand that Usually Annabeth would not have fallen for this trick if it had not happened before. So when she reached the beach, she looked around and,apparently, realised that there was no monster. Then she turned to me in confusion. "Percy, what going on?" she asked. I grinned and pointed up to the sky. Thankfully, Leo did not let me down. The dark sky lighted up as fireworks exploded. Then a glowing sign that read WILL YOU, ANNABETH CHASE, MARRY ME?
her face lit up with joy and she turned to me. To shocked to speak. "yes" she whispered
"what?" I screamed . It was kind of hard to hear and I wasn't sure I heard right.
"YES!" annabeth screamed.
I laughed. I had been carrying the burden around for so long, it felt good to let it go. we spent some time just sitting there, watching the fireworks go off. It ended with a final burst that read ALL DA LADIES LUV LEO<3. We laughed as we walked back to our cabins. I swore on Styx that I would never forget that ay. And I am pretty sure I won't
