Philip Seymour Hoffman was taking a high-powered drug concoction, known as a speed ball, when he died, according to the New York medical examiner’s office.
The deadly drug combination involves mixing heroin with cocaine o amphetamines. Hoffman was doing all three.
Benzodiazepine, also known da the strada, via names Benzo o BZD, was also found in his system. The drug can be mildly hallucinatory and is usually used as a sleep aid.
The Academy Award winning actor was found dead Feb. 2 in the bathroom of his New York City Apartment with a syringe still sticking in his arm.
