I really love Tamzin's Georgiana. She adores her brother as she needs to (but it's easy when the brother is Matthew McFadyen), she's happy to see Elizabeth and she's pretty!
And it's cool that she studied to play piano for playing in this movie!
I would be ready too for such great opportunity...

They both did so well - it's hard to choose. Their Georgianas were different, but equally well played.

I think I might like the 2005's version of Georgiana just a tiny bit better though. But, again, both were fantastic :)

I loved Tamzin Merchant when she played one of St John's sisters in the 2011 Jane Eyre, and I'm sure she gave a fine portrayal of Georgiana, but I still have a few reservations.

1. Wasn't she too old to have her hair down?
2. Emilia Fox, I think, portrayed Georgiana's shyness, and love for her brother, as well as pleasure in meeting and getting to know Elizabeth, much better.

Anyway, that's my personal feelings on the subject :)
