Shana shivered in his arms, her skin cold.

Sora lay her down. "I know it's not just a cold. But this is impossible. No living creatures skin can be that cold." He lay beside her, trying to warm her up, as well as trying to heal her.

Shana opened her eyes half way. "So-Sora...c-cold...." She curled up to him, coughing some more and having short breaths.

"I know. It isn't possible for you to be so cold." Sora replied. He held her close.

"S-So sick....You....should get away....might get you...sick too..." Shana moaned out.

"Shana! I don't care!" Sora replied.

"B-But....but..." Shana couldn't finish as she was caught off by another coughing fit.

"I'm not going anywhere... So stop trying to make me." Sora replied.

Shana snuggled to him more. "Okay..."

Sora held up the medicine. "Can you take this? Or do you need help?"

"N-Need...help..." Shana muttered.

"Ok..." Sora helped her take the medicine. "Oh... My poor princess."

Shana swallowed the medicine, ignoring the bitter taste of it. She gave him a weak smile. "I'll...be fine."

Sora hugged her.

Shana rested her head against him, closing her eyes.

Sora cried silently. What was going on with Shana?

Shana shivered and moaned slightly.

Sora sniffled. "Mom!!"
Cc ran in.
Sora sat up, holding Shana close. "What's wrong with her???"
Cc sighed. "I don't know sweetie. No living creature should be able to reach such cold skin." Cc replied. "Even supernaturals."

Shana moaned in pain as her red hair became a dull red.

"MOM!!!" Sora exclaimed.
"Sora! I don't know what to do! We can't take her to the hospital! This is obviously supernatural related!" Cc exclaimed.
"DAD!!!!" Sora yelled.

Jake appeared in the door way, rubbing his ears. "What? What happened?"

"Shana! Something is wrong with her!" Sora exclaimed, still crying.

"Calm down Sora." Jake said as he approached them. He put his hand on Shana's forehead and then frowned as his hand dropped. "Her skin is almost as cold as Miki's when she is in her fairy form. Maybe because she is a demon, her sickness is...different?" He shrugged, not sure himself. "I don't know what to tell you. It doesn't look like she is going to die or anything but...we got to do something."

"Like Arein?" Sora replied.
"Yeah. Arein is a demon. But we've never had to deal with this." Cc replied.

"Yeah but Arein isn't a fire demon. It could be different for each demon." Jake replied.
Shana frowned slightly as she inhaled and then sneezed blue fire at Jake.
"Whoa!" Jake quickly ducked down and dodged the small ball of blue fire as it hit and scorched the wall behind him.

"He has different powers." Sora replied. His phone rang. He answered.
"You need to make a certain medicine. It works for all demons. I sent you a list of a ingredients." Arein hung up
Sora looked confused. And read the list.

Jake looked at the wall and then Sora. "So...I'm guess Aki told Arein about Shana. What do we need?"
Shana moaned and coughed.

"No Arein's just sneaky. And nothing special. We have all this stuff. I'll be back." Sora ran downstairs and came up with the items. "It's pretty simple." Sora began making the potion at vampire speed.

Shana shivered under the covers. "S-So cold...."

"Hold on sweetie..." Cc replied.
Sora finished the potion. "Arein this better work..." He helped Shana take the amount of potion given.

Shana swallowed the medicine and sighed with her eyes closed. She stopped shivering and some color returned to her skin.
Jake nodded slightly. "Looks like it worked."

"Shana!" Sora hugged her.
Cc pulled Jake out.

Shana smiled slightly and hugged him back. "Sora..."
Jake followed her out.

"Don't scare me like that..." Sora whispered.
"Well... I'm going to bed cuz I have a doctors appointment to look at my baby tomorrow morning." Cc let his hand go.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to." Shana whispered back.
Jake scratched behind his head, looking away. "Oh...okay then..."

Sora kissed her head.

Cc sighed. "I'm sorry if you don't want ths baby Jake. But I do..." She kissed his cheek.

Shana giggles.

"That's not it. It's just uh..." Jake was struggling with his words.

Sora smiled. "I love you so much!"

Cc waited patiently.

"I love you too Sora." Shana replied, cuddling to him more.

"Y-You said...your baby...I just thought that uh...I helped so um....I was never against it or whatever but uh..." Jake was blushing at this point, still not looking at her.

"Sorry. I meant our baby. I'm glad you're not accusing me of cheating..." Cc replied, looking down. She looked up again. "Why are you all blushy? Awkward to talk about sex with your wife?" She teased.

"Sh-Shut up..." Jake blushed a bit more. "And...I trust you. I believe it when you say you didn't cheat."

Cc giggled. "Would you like to come with me tomorrow my love, it's at 8:40. If that's too early. It's fine. I can just go alone." She smiled.

"No I'll go!" Jake quickly said and then got a bit shy. "I mean...I can get up for that."

"Why are you so shy all of a sudden?" Cc giggled. "C'mon we should both head to bed." She grabbed his hand and lead him upstairs.

Jake smiled slightly and followed.

Cc got into her nightgown. Laying back on their bed.

Jake simply stripped to his boxers and laid down next to her.

Cc lay on her side and snuggled close to him.

Jake wrapped his arm around her gently. "Comfy?"

"Mhm..." Cc replied.
