((hey hey look who’s back from the dead!! i can’t wait to *hopefully* start this up again!!))
Thousands of thoughts that were not her own swarmed Lillian’s head as she fought to keep herself upright. They swirled and mixed together and the only ones she could make out were ones involving her. Some were worried, some confused, and some had a happy tone. Lillian saw Mel’s concerned expression when she opened her eyes for a split second only to close them for fear of passing out. Alexi spoke, maybe one syllable, but Lillian couldn’t register what he said, just the fact that he spoke. The voices in her head slowed down as if they were moving in slow motion. Lillian opened her eyes and was able to stand confidently and strongly.
Alexi spoke again, she wasn’t sure what he said. His external voice clashed with the voices inside her mind, sending a white hot streak of pain through the center of her head, causing her to fall down. The voices got faster and louder as Lillian cradled her head. She bit her tongue to hold back a scream from the pain, but it wasn’t enough. She let out a sound of pain, just audible enough for the people closest to her to hear it. She mentally kicked herself for making herself look weaker than she already did. Lillian found one of her deeper scars across her collar bound with her fingers and ran her finger across it. The voices gradually died down as she did so, but her migraine was still strong. She kept running her hand along the scar and the voices kept getting quieter in her head.
