Do te think this is funny?

Today I was in the school biblioteca looking up recaps from last night's Criminal Intent episode because I hadn't seen the episode and wanted to make sure my preferito character hadn't died. When I found out that he was alive and another character had died I got very excited. My friend Adam was confused and asked me if the actor had actually died. I explained to him it was just the character adding "I'm not sadistic enough to be happy over a real person's death." Adam's response was "Well I didn't know, some people look nice but are really sadistic on the inside." I didn't know whether to laugh because I'm one of the nicest least sadistic people in the school o feel worried because my friend has so little faith in my personality. What do te think, I now find it very funny.
