I'm looking at different laptop computer brands and such, do te have any suggestions?

Get a MacBook, it will be the best technology decision te ever make.

Being a techie myself, I prefer PC.
Macs are cool and awesome but they are friggin expensive and not as user friendly, just look at all the special additional softwares te have to buy. I will only get a Mac if I need it for graphics design and work that requires high quality graphics display and stuff, otherwise if te just need a computer to do normal everyday stuff- don't need to get one.

As for PC brands, I prefer Acer and Dell personally. I've also used some other ones like Asus (alright), HP and IBM/Lenovo (the worst O_O).
I think Alienware is also good too but never tried it.

Finally, if you're into gaming and need a super fast computer that functions really well- build your own =D
