te know what's really sad?

The world is practically coming to an end around us, and people don't even care. I'm not sure whether to laugh o cry o what.

I mean, look at the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Scientists now say that 25,000-80,000 barrels are spilling into the ocean DAILY, the oxygen levels in the ocean have decreased da 30% in some areas, and it is posing a major threat to wild life. It is predicted that soon, wild life at the ocean floor may die, and there may be several "dead areas".

Then look at the vulcano in Iceland. That has already polluted the air terribly. I don't know a lot about this one, but think about this;
Let's say the oil spill DOES go up the East Coast like scientists believe it may unless it is stopped soon. Let's say it goes up to Iceland, and the vulcano starts spurting lava all over the oil. BAM! Massive explosions.

I agree 100%.

What I find mostly horrible though, is this. It's probably off-topic, but perhaps related in a way.

Some people say that the problem in our world is overpopulation. Numerous people in the world are using resources, taking up land etc., and with around 9 billion people on our planet, well the Earth is being used up.

Do I think this is true? I'm currently undecided.

But what irritates me about overpopulation is that large families are seen as the culprits of this, large families with perhaps eight children o more.

What I don't understand is this; if the large families aren't having children, numerous other people will! What difference would it make if te prevent one person in our world from having a child when there's millions of other people having children at the same moment?

But those are just my opinions.

And I agree with te 100%.

Humans are overpopulating the Earth, that much is obvious. The più people, the less space. Then we spread out, clear forests, and make our atmoshpere a whole lot worse.

Yes, I have heard all of that. But I'm still unsure on whether o not I should think it's a fact.

I get exactly how te feel. Ever since the theory of Global Warming was even thought of, I've felt that the world was ending. I'm afraid that the world really might end in 2012. If te compare the cleanliness of the world today against the world 200 years ago, you'll get a HUGE difference. I think the world really is ending.

As for what's going on right now, it's pretty horrible, and I do think it's ruining our oceans. But I don't even think that can compare to what's coming in our future if we don't do something about it. Even with things like Haiti, we haven't really improved it, just gone down there and occupied their space.

I can't do anything about it. I mean, of course I'm concerned, but there's really nothing I can do about it. I have no money, no way to get anywhere, and very few people actually listen to what I have to say. But I can still keep on hoping, hoping that someday the world will improve.

Yes it could. If fuoco from the vulcano hits the oil in the water, (Yes, it very possibly could spread that far, even if it is unlikely) then it will explode. And wait a second, how can they have a vulcano on iceland, I though it was Frozen anyway!

Oh, gee... There's a lot of volcanos on Iceland. And the vulcano doesn't let magma escape from it because of the thick ice on superiore, in alto of it. All it does is to give out ashes. A lot of it. So no. There can't be an explosion. If there was a possibillity for it, I would've known. Because that would affect our country.

Oh, wow, that's one weird volcano! But wouldn't the ice eventually melt?

A lot of it has melted, but the news say that the water is going back. I don't know how that's possible, but that's what it says.

NATURAL. EARTH. CYCLE.

Not that we're not speeding up global warming and killing animali and destroying the rain forest (I mean really WTF? The rain forest dies, te die too smart ones). But te know how "the sea levels are rising"? They used to be higher. Like, as high as we predict them to be again. It's like the opposite of the ice age. Of course we should try to slow climate change as much as we can, but it'll take decades to undo all of the damage that's been done.

Eventually the age of humans will come to an end, and there's no stopping it. Just be happy for your time now, because I doubt that the world will end in our lifetime.

it does disturb me, the oil spill bit, but ive heard nothing on the iceland volcano, that scares me a little bit more. could this be the thing that brings about the end of humanity? perhaps. some probably truly dont care, but most of us have probably accepted that in the end, it cant be helped, only delayed.
