Actually, Ash's Pikachu is a male. In one episode, Team Rocket builds some kind of home base and locks up Ash and his friends. Long story short, a female Togepi uses the sposta "Attract" which makes Buneary, Pikachu,Meowth, and Piplup fall in Amore with it. Everyone knows that Meowth is male, so Pikachu must be male too. Ash's Pikachu in the games are also detto to be male. Another thing is the tail. A female Pikachu has some kind of gap on its tail shaped sorta like a triangle. Ash's Pikachu doesn't...Crud, this makes me sound super nerdy XD
