Who doesnt like fanpop fanpop anymore?

I use to like fanpop back in 2007 when i first joined. It was più private then, less well known and everyone was generally più friendly and fun.


Today's fanpop, everyone seems to be up themselves and can't seem to process the fact that giving an '' opninion '' on something, isn't te trying to start a '' fight '' .

I totally get what te are saying. I joined here on June of this year, and it wasnt all about hate and fights. Now that summer is over, everyone begins hating each other, backstabbing, LYING and worse blackmailing each other. Thats what is causing people to leave off of fanpop -er HATEpop now-.

I think its mainly because if some one states their opinion on something, some immature person is going to say things like, 'Fuck te asshole' o 'Whatever Bitch' o something completely senseless.

Then theres the fakes. People saying, 'hey guys its me Justin Bieber!!' o 'Hey its me Taylor Swift!' Everyone can tell its someone lying about it. Because if they were actually them, they would actually reply to their fan about real life stuff. Also its identity theft.

Wow that was alot to say....

Meh.... Fanpop's become like a mini youtube. But te got to admit the fights are amusing, sometimes X3

I sort of don't like it now. But I come here anyways because I'm bored :)

And I haven't even been on fanpop a full anno yet.

People were friendlier back in 2008.
Now this place is full of whiney children who don't know what a different opinion is.

there weren't anti spots back in '08
there weren't a bunch of whiney fanbrats who tell other fan to "back off" cuz they "love them più than te do" in '08
Justin Bieber and henceforth his fanbrats AND haters were unheard of back in '08
but da the same token i had no idea who Gaara was back in '08 either...

I can't say i don't.
If I didn't like it I would cancella my account a.s.a.p.
Anyways, the fights happen because:
People have diff opinions and they conflict with anothers and instead of keeping it 'as nice as possible' they just flat out go off. I'm too old/young for that. Discussion is healthy, arguing with a person te don't know for small reasons doesn't make sense to me. Some people don't know the difference between someone voicing their opinion and bashing so they immediately flip to defend themselves, just in case they were being flamed.
Another reason is very clear.
Jackasses LIVE AND BREED ON THE INTERNET. This is the place where they can be accepted da other jackasses who aren't accepted o understood anywhere else. So they HAVE TO act the way they do.
Sad but true.
I find it easy to just laugh at a jackass and sposta along. I have yet to get into an argument with anyone...don't plan on it either. ^.^

I find fanpop okay, its better than my reality anyway. (;

I've joined fanpop around this time last anno and it was sort of fun especially at the thought of making new Friends from all over the globe. Well, all that's changed no thanks to the fighting over things that's not worth fighting about, most people have their favourites and leaving others out and would talk to te whenever they feel like. It's not so much the site that I have a problem with, it's mostly the people.

i think everyone knows what te mean; yea, there are some pretty opinionated people on here. but thats life. it bothers me, but i dont get all outta-control-jerk on the people i disagree with
i have some good Friends on here, and some cool club on here. i dont lik the jerks, but that doesnt mean te cant lik the site itself.

ikr? its mainly people not respecting others opinion! fanpop waas so much più fun before anybody knew who Justin Bieber was!


And people make a big deal out of "IM A BIGGER fan THAN te ARE!!!" its soooo annoying. Ive had three people go "im a bigger selena fan than te are" and the worst part is this is the first thing they detto to me when they added me.

I know what te mean, back in 08 even it was nicer. Just look at the HP vs Twilight spot. I guess as the years pass sociotey gets worse.

I'm going for my first anno and I have seen dat one opinion leads to a fight, which is not right in my opinion. I usually dnt lik getting into it and if I do I try not to offend anyone with my opinion. & if u guys are saying fanpop wasn't like this but peaceful, then I would be wirh te guys to bring the old days back. Count on my vote.
