does anybody have a parent who is blind?

my mom is blind and it's really hard to take care of her i have to read to her and help her around the house i worry alot about her when im away at school...my mom knows how to read brail and type brail she uses a cain and we have a guid dog i know how to use a cain right and i know how to use a guid dog, im not blind but i ask myself what is it like to have a mother who can do stuff with u my mother doesnt even know what i look like.

ik its sad like my friend is like so upset cause her doctor told her that she has a chance to become blind when shes older and im srry but u should be pround of urself
