Is this Normal?

My parents don't trust me to go to the Film with my friends... I was going to see The Woman in Black tonight, but they won't let me! They won't let me because they say I'm too young to be left at the Film alone with friends! I'm 14! Is it normal to be upset, and mad?

Of course it's normal! They don't let te do something te want so of course it's normal to be upset... But they're not doing it to make te mad they're just worried. I think at 14, you're old enough to go to the Film with your Friends though, if I remember well the first time my parents let me go da myself I was 11... But some parents worry più than others. Maybe te don't seem responsible enough to them... I don't know te o your parents so I can't really tell...

Yes. It's normal.

te see, over the short fourteen years i've been alive, i've learned two things

1)Don't trust the weather man
and
2) When your parents are being overprotective, it may mean they Amore you, but it also means they just want to pick on te because they had no freedom as children.

te think THAT'S bad? I can't stay home alone. The one time I was aloud to, I couldn't go upstairs o downstairs, I couldn't go in the fridge o use the microwave (cause they were afraid i'd burn myself -_-) and I had to stay in the living room with my cell phone in my hand.

Yes te have every right to be mad, but it's not going to change how things work with your mom.

My parents who are divorced are carefree and let me do basically anything I want, they don't worry where I go o who I'm with because both my parents have alot of Friends they trust and know very well, and I do too.

Do things to prove that te deserve their trust like stop throwing fits when te don't get your way and act mature.
