I'm in a situation...

te want to be a Christian goth, yet you're insulted da your parents for being a goth.
The fuck?
If te WANT to be a goth, te shouldn't be INSULTED o ASHAMED for being called a goth. It's what te want right? Don't be ashamed when your parents call te goth. Say "Thank you! You've noticed~." o something like that. Become what te want, and see if te really do want to be a Christian goth because it's a lifestyle that appeals to you, not because te want to be one.

Well cerca for some christian goth artists to use them as examples... Are te a protestant? If te are, doesn't your church have pastors te can get an appointment with and with whom te can talk so that te can find some solution?

All I can say is, be you. If that te is Goth, then I don't see the problem. If you're Christian that's great that te believe in God. People are just judgemental and stupid and always will be wherever te go so all te can do is try to ignore them.

Nobody can't order te how to look like-neither your parents.Christian goths are cool & if te want to be one of them te have to be strong enough to stand up to your parents and everyone else..Just don't give a f*ck about what anyone says.

I think te should talk to the calmly, like an adult. Explain why te think this way and mostra them examples of other Christian Goths. Try to be really good in the days before te do this, though. Try cleaning and doing chores without being asked to, and be really nice (not that te aren't already).

Argue with them. Tell them how going goth isn't going to change your Amore for God and Jesus, and that it is just a lifestyle that a lot of good people do just because it made them feel unique.

Then, after the talk, do the walk. Whether o not they approved of your style, go goth and mostra them that te haven't and will never let antything as trivial as a Gothic style ruin your relatioship with God. Go to church in goth, pray morning, noon, and night in goth, read the Bible in goth, and eat and sleep in goth. That'll mostra 'em! ;-)

yeah my parents are overprotective too, i have no fb..well anyway i think te should be true to yourself and tell your parents no matter how crazy they think te are. te have to let them know that, that is who i am and what i love. They have to understand that and be supportive to you, rather than making fun of you. Be true to yourself no matter what ANYONE thinks. Hope this helps!

I think that's really great. I want to be the same thing, so I understand what te mean. Also, if your parents are "ashamed" of you, they obviously do not support you. They should be able to support te in anything. (except for like being a rapist o something...). So just tell the truth to your parents, and remember, God will be with you.
