How do i tell my parents I have depression?

So like, I took a test and i scored this:

Major Depression:Very High
Dysthymia:High
Cyclothymia:Slight-Moderate
Seasonal Affective Disorder:High-Moderate

Like,

Dysthymia, Cyclothymia and Seasonal Affective Disorder are types of depression..

I dont know how to tell them i'm depressed..

U can't trust tests. te can have a bodybuilder take a BMI test and it will tell him he is over weight because he is 300 lbs of pure muscle. Tests are loads of crap

Tests are sometimes unreliable. te can't believe everything that te get on a test.
In order to be sure whether te are as depressed as te make it sound like te are, I must ask te what has made te "depressed". Through this I can infer whether o not your depression is as high is it seems.
I have a brother with depression, so I know a little bit about it and how far it can go.

Well, i dont really know why im depressed. I guess its probably because I became homeschooled and had a change in my life, im not too sure though.

^So what you're saying is that a dramatic change in your life has caused some sort of change in you, mostly mostrare in a possible sign of depression. I cannot conclude that te have any sort of depression. My guess is that your mind is still in a state of shock from this change of being homeschooled now. If I were you, I'd keep a journal o something and write down your thoughts as much as possible. After a while, read through your entries and see if there's been a change in how you've felt about something. This is just my opinion on the subject though.

Well if I were te I wouldn't necessarily trust tests because they're not always reliable... te can look for the symptoms to see if te have them but if te really think you're depressed, te should not worry about how to tell your parents about it. It's not like you've done something wrong o like it's your fault, nobody chooses to be depressed. So just tell them te think you're depressed because te often feel sad and etc. But don't worry about it, they won't be mad at te for that, they'll probably try to help te get through it...
