My parents wont let me wear make-up, help!

How old are you? Why don't te talk to te mom and ask something like this, "Mom, how about I put on some makeup the way I want to right now? Then te can see how I want it. If te don't like it, o if it's too much, we can talk about it, and together we can go to the mirror and see what we can come up with."

well if they dont let te wear make-up then i figure your still in school right? anyway, te can go to school w/ out it and then putit on at school and make sure te wife t off real good b4 te go home. oh andi wear make-up so when te put it on try not to make your face look fake, that way your parent/s will know that it wont make te look like a girl who attracts a lot of guys (no offence i swear!) anyway i hope i helpd bye take care!

how old are te i know te probably don't want to hear this but i'm going to say it anyway te don't need makeup i never wear it and am happy but still i understand why te are upset like suggested mostra your parents what te do look like with it on and mostra them te don't wear alot anymore like te used too hope this helps

THAT SUCKS!!i now how u feel honey and its not fair,but it might depend on ur age,like mi parents dnt let me untill im 13(im 13 in nov 11 (: )but i still wear a lil mascara an conceeler.if ur older thn 13 then u must do sumthing about it,hav u talked 2 thm?or jst stick 2 natural makeup nothing 2 bold u no so they wont notice,but it'll still make u look pritty.plus,u culd buy ur own an jst tell thm tht its ur own money an its nt as if ur usin theirs...

Why do te WANT to wear make up? Ask yourself that before te continue with this.

Do te want to look pretty, do te want to hide blemishes, do te want to make your eyes look a different colour, do te want to look healthier...

There are a lot of reasons te may want to wear make up. But there are bad reasons, too. reasons like, 'I'm ugly without it.' o 'All of my Friends do and I wanna fit in.'

Here's what te SHOULDN't do: bring make-up to school and put it on there. You'll be lying to your parents, and if they find out te will be in trouble. te might feel guilty about that, too, and your parents will feel like te can't trust them.

Ask one of your parents to take te shopping. The general rule of all make-up is don't overdo it. find shades that go with your skin tone, and eye stuff that compliments your eye colors. te don't want to look very dramatic, few people can pull that off. te just want to enhance your natural features. If your skin is fair go for light blushes and eyeshadows. I try to stay away from black as a rule, as it makes the rest of your face look washed out, but to each their own.

Or, te could just go natural. te don't need make-up to be pretty, te just need to be confident. If te think te look good, then te WILL look good.

Well It depends on how old te are. From the sounds of it, te seem to still be in school. So i wouldn't even bother. All the girls of today are trying to grow up to fast, wearing makeup, phones, and skimpy dresses. And i have to say media isn't helping this cause. But every girl is beautiful and make up corrupts that, making every girl false. I have never had makeup on in my entire life and its good, because i don't have to feel self conscious about it.

I think it's your own choice do te wear any make up o not! te can make up in school o something! Yep that's my oppinion

Take it to school and put on there and be sure to whipe it off really good before te get home. And be sure to not hide ur makeup where ur mom might see it.

ciao there. I don't know if te solved your problem but I thought I would just be helpful. I read you're 13? Then we're nearly the same age. I'm 14.

But getting back to the problem. Well, try talking to them ad explain to them what kin of make-up te want to put on. Don't over-do it. For example, when I go out/at school, I usually put on some mascara, some beige eye-shadow which can't even be seen and some eyeliner one my lower lid, because I have big lips and I want to make my eyes look più proeminent. And I have brown eyes, because if te have blue o green o grey eyecolour, te shouldn't put eyeliner on your lower lid because te would look like a frog. Really. Anyway, as I said, don't over-do it. Last anno I went to my friend's birthday party and there was a guy I liked. I wanted to catch his attention so I put on a lot of make-up and in the end, I looked pretty stupid. I used a lot of blue eyeshadow and slot of mascara and I looked like I had only 3 eyelashes. Just explain to your moyer why te want to put on make up and i'm sure she will understand. Just tell her te will not put it on like crazy and then look like a clown. mostra her the way te want it to look and that's all. I'm sure that if your mother understands, she will explain to your father too. And te have to make the difference between giorno make up and night make up.

well my mom wont let me wear makeup so i totally get were your coming from,well how about instead of asking for a whole bunch at a time ask one da one,like mascara first then eye liner then mostra the that te look alright an not dead.And if that doesn't work te could just have a friend put te on some makeup but not to much and then present yourself to your parents and let them see then probably they'll let te use makeup.

te should mostra them te can be più responsible And not over do it.
