Ever have this happen to you?

So I was sleeping. Rather peacefully actually. I was having a pretty good dream when suddenly everything in my dream seems to look weird. Like it's all being sucked into something, then I wake up. My heartbeat is going crazy, I'm breathing heavily as though I was running, and I was hungry, but that last part isn't really that relevant.

Nothing was scary, but I had all the signs of having had a nightmare. Weird...

I suppose the only way to describe the feeling I had was it was like my dream was being sucked back into my head.
