Do te think the director wanted Come d’incanto to be like Shrek.

I have seen this movie so many times and it always reminds me of Shrek because Shrek and Come d’incanto both mock fairytales except Come d’incanto does the Disney ones and Shrek does the non Disney movies. And I betcha that the sequel will be like Shrek 2 e.g Giselle meets Robert’s parents and they find her a bit strange at first and eventually they like her. Some enchantress disenchants Robert and she has to woo Robert all over again. Now if this happens I swear to god I will not be watching it.
