People are extremely judgmental and ignorant when it comes to Archie, he basically gets blamed for everything.

Very first episode of the show, Archie and Veronica baciare in secret, but it's both of them who goes for the baciare and it actually so happens that Archie is the first to say "We shouldn't do this" = Archie gets all the blame

1x09; Cheryl is the one baciare Archie, and he's not okay with it = Archie gets all the blame

For half of the mostra pretty much, Archie and Veronica have been together and stayed true to each at this point.

The latest episode; If te watch the scene with Betty and Archie again, Betty is the one going for the baciare here = Archie gets all the blame

When 2x08 ended; everyone immediately hate and judge Archie for that last scene, I do admit it looked weird of course, but if people actually used their minds for a secondo instead of being so quick to judge, Archie and Betty had both broken up with Veronica/Jughead, they've been best Friends since forever, it's very natural that te turn to an old friend/your best friend in a situation like this, where te feel alone.

And the biggest joke of it all is that people were so wrong about it, Archie didn't even make a sposta on Betty the whole episode.

Meanwhile Archie is probably the most caring character in the show, trying to help all his friends, he's also the one doing the most to stop the Black Hood, but all he ever gets is blame and criticism.
