Painful Memories
Chapter Seven
Carsile POV
“Esme, dear, te must calm down” I cooed into my wife's ear. “We must remain calm at a time like this.”
After Emmett's outburst, Esme had broken down into hysterical sobs at the thought that her son was in so much pain, and there is absolutely nothing she can do to help him.
“Yes” A much calmer Esme agreed with me. “We shall all be strong right now, for Rosalie.”
We all nodded in agreement. “Emmett” I addressed my son “Today we will go to find Rosalie, but we must be cautious about it. We also need to think of our families safety. Where should we leave Bella?”
Bella POV
“Where should we leave Bella?” Carsile asked looking now at Edward, who had his arms wrapped around me.
I took this opportunity to speak up for myself. “I have a idea!” I spoke up.
And of course, Edward knew where I was about to steer the conversation. He knew exactly where I was going with this and I wasn't really surprised. He knew everything right?
“Bella, that wouldn't be very helpful.” Edward spoke though his teeth. “Now is not the time for that discussion.”
“Bella, Edward's right” Alice sided with him.
“Bella, sweetheart, we don't have enough time for that. Three days is a long time. Who knows what might happen to Rosalie during that time.” Esme said.
“And a blood thirsty newborn wouldn't be very helpful either.” Alice added.
I sighed. They were all right and I knew it. I couldn't argue any further so I sat here in defeat.
Edward POV
Bella sighed in defeat. So eager for eternal damnation. If she was really this eager to be immortal, than hoped that she might decide to go with my marriage offer.
“I can stay down in La Push with Jake.” Bella suggested.
Although I was glad that she let our precedente subject drop, I didn't really like the thought of my Bella around a bunch of Werewolves. They were so unpredictable. And If something were to happen to Bella, Alice wouldn't be able to see that because of the wolves.I knew that it would probably be safer than to leave Bella at her house, completely unprotected from all our current dangers. I nodded reluctantly.
**1 ora later**
My Bella was now sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza down in La Push. I knew Jacob and the other licantropi would be più than able to protect her, but I was still worried.
“Edward are te ready to go?” Alice chirped from outside my bedroom door.
I stood up and went to the door.
Alice and I chatted casually on our way down to my volvo. I ignored her as she went on and on about something unimportant. My mind kept thinking of Bella, and of what might happen when we arrived. I wonder if Hayley let down her shield yet. Maybe if she has, Alice could see what will happen. Even if Hayley lets down her shield for a diviso, spalato second, Alice could catch something.
When Alice started to sing 'Don't cha' in her head, I knew she was blocking me from a vision.
“Alice what did te see? What are te blocking from me?”
She snapped away from her vision and broke down. If she were a human, there's no doubt she would be crying. “No!No, that can't happen!I won't let it!” She screamed.
