Selena Gomez was the big winner at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.

The singer and actress took home two awards, one for Favourite TV Actress for the now defunct Wizards of Waverly Place and a secondo gong for Favourite Female Singer at the ceremony in which over 220 million voti were cast.

She said: "After no longer doing my show, knowing te guys still watch it means so much."

Host Will Smith kicked off the night with a rap and promised a record-breaking amount of the slime for which the awards are famous, saying, "No one is sicuro, cassetta di sicurezza from the slime."
