Severus Piton Domanda

The Prince's Tale. My opinion. Whats yours?

I havnt really seen the scene yet. I've only seen the immagini and screen shots so far, and a few clips on youtube, and as of right now, I adore it.
Its enchantingly beautiful, and Alan did a wonderful potrayal of all the emotion.

Of course, having seen some of it already, I've managed to shed a few tears. Hopefully this will help sort if numb the shock so I dont completely flip out when I actually see it.

What I loved:
Alan's portrayal of Severus. I have loved seeing the immagini and clips(However depressing they were)
because finally, after 7 films, 10 years, and a whole lot of theorizing, we finally get to see the real emotions behind the man. The emotional barriers that have been placed were broken, and the flood of emotion was perfect(and sad)

I also loved them adding the "you have your mothers eyes" To his death scene. I thought it added so much more.

What I didnt like:
They took out the meadow scene where the quote
"Its real for us" came up. And nothing was detto about his father. I know that it wasnt crucial to the plot of the film, but I thought it gave good explanation.

So true. I really liked getting to see Alan put some emotion in Severus' character. Wonderfully done.

I loved it!
Since I read the first book, my preferito character has always been Snape. And when I read the 7th book I cried with chapter of The Prince's Tale.
I was really scared that maybe in the movie they didn't make the scene as good as in the book, but when I saw it, to me, it was perfect. And I loved Alan's acting.
I think I have never cried so much watching a movie.
I want to go to see the movie again to watch that scene one più time.

(sorry if I made some mistakes in my english, I'm mexican)

In general I completely and absolutely LOVED The Prince's Tale. As a whole, it was beautifully put together, Alan Rickman's recitazione was beyond spectacular, the Musica was hearbreaking and I loved the earlier Film flashbacks.

I have few tiny issues with the lack of certain scenes of course, I wouldn't be a Snape fan if I didn't ;) I especially miss the 'and my soul Dumbledore? Mine?' and the school memories, but I guess I will have to just live with that.

Again, in general, The Prince's Tale was just perfect, più so, if te consider this is the same director who so royally fucked up Half-Blood Prince movie.

Over-all, I thought the Prince's Tale was beautiful -- even più so, as lilith said, when te consider who directed it. I actually think the memories transitioned più smoothly on the big screen then they did in the book.

They did cut out a lot of Severus' past that I wish they would have kept in. Not just because he's my preferito character, but I think because some of those things explained più about why he made certain choices and behaved in certain ways.

I Amore scenes i think it was wonderful and i Amore the opportunity to see a emotional Snape. I really like the added scenes when he holds Lily becuase he isn't only holding the woman he loves also his friend, the girls he met when he was young. I have no words to describe the excelente job of Alan Rickman. Also it suprised me how young alan seemed.
I would have like to see più scenes of snape and lilys as childs and teeneagers and maybe the scene where he holds a picture of lily and starts to cry. But beyond this the prince's tale scenes where the best and it make me thrill and i started to cry when he says Always. I am nobody to say if Alan Rickman deserves an Oscar o not but i can say this is one of his best performance.

I thought they did an really good job.

Alan Rickman did an AMAZING job as Snape. I almost cried.

I was afraid they were going to butcher it, but I thought they totally did Snape's death and the Prince's Tale justice.

I really loved it! Especially that scene with Snape holding Lily's dead body and crying. OMG! I Lost it. I cried so hard.

But like a lot of people on here I really wished they would have put più in when Snape and Lily were in school. Also I wish they would have explained why Lily and Snape no longer were Friends and so on.

But, over all I really was happy with it.

There were a lot of scenes that I wish they'd included like the train scene, some information about his father, the explanation of why and how their friendship ended since from watching the movie the implication was that it ended because Lily became Friends with James from the time she was sorted into Gryffindor. I missed the epitaph line, the "and my soul Dumbledore? Mine?" as well as "Lately, only those whom I could not save". I thought those three lines were important because they mostra us that Severus was a good person. He wasn't just a Ribelle - The Brave man who protected Harry for Lily. He was someone who worried about and tried to do the right thing.

I think I liked the prince's tale scenes because the scenes that were included were handled well. The young actor playing the part of Severus had the right look - vulnerable, and yet somehow sure of himself. For some reason he reminded me of Wednesday Adams played da Christina Ricci. But più than anything I liked it because Alan was so amazing in it.
