te should definitely give Leggere the libri a try sometime! The Film are great but they honestly can't compare to the real thing! :)

1). The prophecy came from Trelawney and was dato to Dumbledore at the Hog's Head Inn while she was interviewing for the job of Divination teacher at Hogwarts. Snape was a Death Eater at that time and was also seeking a job at Hogwarts so that he could spy on Dumbledore for Voldemort. Snape spied on Trewlawney's interview with Dumbledore, but he only heard half of the prophecy because he was caught and thrown out of the building before he could hear the whole thing. He immediately ran to tell Voldemort what he had heard, having no idea that Voldemort would go after the Potters. Since Voldemort didn't have the entire prophecy, he didn't realize that da going after Harry, he was actually bringing the prophecy about, therefore making it true.

2) In the teachers' quarters, I assume :)

3) At the time, Voldemort thought that Snape had abandoned the cause (in the graveyard, Voldemort mentioned to Harry that he thought he had Lost Snape's loyalty forever). Later, Dumbledore asked Snape to become a double agent so he could spy on Voldemort, so Snape went to Voldemort and convinced him he still wanted to be a Death Eater, but had to wait before coming to him to avoid making Dumbledore suspicious.

4) Apparently Dumbledore's portrait told him, though the book never explains how the portrait would have known that information.

5) Probably so he could catch Snape off guard. As we saw in Half-Blood Prince, Snape is very fast at deflecting spells and Voldemort thought that Snape had the Elder Wand, so he didn't want to risk fighting with him. He told Nagini to kill Snape in Parseltongue so that Snape wouldn't know what he was saying. da the time Snape realized that Voldemort had ordered Nagini to kill him, he was already being attacked and it was too late to fight back.

He was 'working' for Voldy at the time to spy on Dumbledore. He was a full true death eater.
One night he spied on Dumbledore and Prof Trelawny. She gave the prophacy for Dumbledore yes, but Snape only heard half the story. When he found who's son must be killed he begged Dumbledore to Protect Lily.

There must be a 'Secret Chamber' in other words his own humble abode where he could sleep o "Rest" to past the time.

He is a double spy. For Voldy and Dumbledore, but of course his loyaly for the Dark Lord is Fake.
He explained so that he wanted to think that 'Dumbledore would not suspect a thing.' meaning he is not a death eater once more. and again, he joined again on Dumbledore's orders.

I'm not sure about that one, but I think Dumbledore (portrait-LoL ) told him everything he needed to know, just to keep the Dark Lord's Trust and faith ( not that Voldy had any lol) Dumbledore also explained about the Gryffindor Sword ,what and where Snape must put it.

Voldy had the Elder Wand, Correct? so he must kill the precedente owner of the wand, da doing so he'll gain complete trust in the wand. (Draco is the real owner of the wand, not Snape.) Remember the tale of the three brothers? A man killed the Elder wand owner with a dagger.
I think it is just to mark a'true'thing, I'm not sure.

plain and simple Voldemort trusted him probably the most out of all of the other death eaters #4 he didn't want to set the attack on Harry Dumbledore told him he had to #5 I think he wanted him to suffer più so using nagini to attack him was better then letting him die easy with the killing curse...anyways as LadyNottingham detto it is probably best if te at least read "Deathly Hallows" to get the majority of the risposte te seek =)

1) No one knows why o how Severus was at the Leaky Cauldron -- where Dumbledore and Trawlany were having a a job interview -- it's never stated in the libri o movies. He eavesdropped on the prophecy (and then ran and told Voldemort) because it pertained to Voldemort, whom he was working for at the time.

2) In his room. No one knows where the teachers quarters are. It's implied that the Heads of House's are close to the dormitories, but that's all that's ever detto about it.

3) He explained that he was waiting on Dumbledore's orders, so that he could keep his position as spy.

4) He was the one that set up that whole "seven Harry's" incident. He confounded Mundungus to make him think it was Mundungus' idea, but he and Dumbledore planned it all out.

5) That's anyone's guess.

1)He was a true Death Eater at the time. He was there for a job interview as Voldemort wanted to plant him as a spy within Hogwarts. While there he took the opportunity to eavesdrop on the meeting between Dumbledore and Trelawney. However he was discovered before he could hear the rest of the prophecy.

2)I don't recall it being mentioned anywhere exactly where his quarters were located. All we know is that is at least 2 floors below the Griffindor dorm rooms and that his office is between his quarters and the stairs.

3)He explained that da waiting until it was Dumbledore who asked him to return to Voldemort and spy for the Order, he (Snape) had gained even più of Dumbledore's trust. He still got to return to Voldemort, but now Dumbledore thought it was because he'd been asked to da him.

4)He knew the data because he'd previously got hold of Mundungus and cast a spell on him (possibly imperio) . Snape himself came up with the escape plan. He instructed Mundungus to present the whole escape plan including the change of data and the use of decoys through polyjuice as Mundungus' own idea. He then told Voldemort about the change of date, but left out the info about the decoys in order to still protect Harry.

5)I think it's because he thought Snape was the master of the wand, and as such he believed a killing curse cast through the elder wand would rebound on him (like it did when he tried it against Harry on his last duel). So he set the snake on Snape instead.

Since Voldemort believed that te had to kill to win the allegance of the Elder Wand, he could not risk an actual duel with Severus, since he believed Severus was the Wand's true master. Besides, if he had just AK'd Severus, he'd have been dead, and Harry would never have gotten the information he needed. ;)

Read the books. I'd find it out myself if I were you. Spoilers ruined my life, see.
