The reason people are scared of sharks is because they eat people. No. They don't. To sharks, we taste like mud, cat hair, cat fleas, some wood shavings, and a dog's regurgitated lunch all mixed together. From underneath, we look very much like seals to them. They come up, bite us, get that revolting taste, and swim away. Granted, the human bitten da the squalo will probably never get that left leg back.
