When Joan got to the police station, she found Sherlock in Gregson's office.
'Hey, te OK? I saw what happened on the news.'
'I'm fine, just a minor injury.' He showed her his arm. 'Nothing to worry about.'
'How did this happen?.'
'Don't know.' She hugged him so tight.'I'm fine Joan, honestly.'
'I know but what if something worse had happened?.' He pulled away gently.
'But it didn't. I'm here.' He pushed a stray hair behind her ear. 'I'll be back in a minuto i have to give a statement.' He kissed her forehead and left the office. Joan sighed. She got and was about to leave when she saw an envelope...

They left Gregson's office holding each others hand and found Oscar sitting in the corridor.
'Holmes, what's going on I've been here for almost two hours.'
'They haven't told you?'
'Told me what?'
Gregson and campana, bell appeared from round the corner.
'Sherlock, can we have a word with te and Oscar for a moment?'
Sherlock gave Joan a baciare on the cheek and followed them into one of the interview rooms.
'Now, Oscar we have decided not to charge te but only if te help us catch your dealer.'

Set a couple of months after the trial

As Sherlock sat, waiting for Joan, he thought about the past couple of years. His relationship with Joan has gone from strength to strength, sure they've had their moments but what couple hasn't? He has a beautiful baby boy, who he adores so much and his relationship with his father has gone from none existent to rebuilding. And now he's here.
