It’s an old discussion, but I can’t resist to post my own take on it. I think this is an issue which went well out of hand from the very start, and I also think that the ongoing discussions about what is the better mostra are way too much colored da the way Elementary came to exist. So before I discuss the shows in itself, here my thoughts about Elementary being a rip-off.

I firmly believe that the writers of Sherlock were right when they made noise to protect their copyright. While Sherlock Holmes is not their property, their take on this character is, and they had reasons to worry about...
