Simba is rash in the second movie and he has to get smacked in the head by rafiki to reclaim pride rock

I wasn't sure whether to vote for Nala or both equally; the reason being I think Simba has the natural capability to be wiser than he is, but due to what happened during his childhood he didn't grow up properly and was in some ways a "big kid" when he returned to Pride Rock.

Voted for just Nala though because as it stands I don't think Simba is as wise as her.

The funny thing is, in the sequel, Kiara actually seems to have inherited a lot of Mufasa's wisdom and morality. Rather than assuming it completely skipped Simba's generation, though, I think it's more likely that Simba is just not being open-minded enough in the sequel because the outlanders are associated with Scar and he has a good reason to despise Scar.
